Animgen is the component of all our signing software which translates signs described in avatar-independent Gestural SiGML into motion data for any avatar. To do this it reads an ARP definition file specifying the geometry of a particular avatar, and uses this information to compute motion data corresponding to SiGML's avatar-independent concepts of posture and movement.
