Animgen is the component of all our signing software which translates <br />
signs described in avatar-independent [[SiGML|Gestural SiGML]] into motion <br />
data for any avatar. To do this it reads an [[ARP]] definition<br />
file specifying the geometry of a particular avatar, <br />
and uses this information to compute motion data corresponding to <br />
SiGML's avatar-independent concepts of posture and movement.<br />
