See HamNoSys for DGS Corpus and HamNoSys Project at the University of Hamburg.
SiGML is closely based on HamNoSys and supports a format for describing a sign in terms of a sequence of HamNoSys tokens encoded in XML. A number of Tools are available for editing and animating HamNoSys transcriptions via SiGML.
